Dr. Pierre Vankan is the founder of BaselBio1 GmbH. He has  been engaged for 30 years in Pharmaceutical research, development and marketing. He spent > 15 years in Global Pharmaceutical Companies, overseeing, for multiple projects in the EU, US and Japan, all steps from research to development and marketing. Subsequently as head of development in a biotech company he built up from scratch a development organization that brought its first compound from lab to launch in four years.
Over the last 10 years his company has successfully supported start-up biotechs in designing and carrying out development programs.
